I am ready to love you, I am ready to hold you

Yes waiting for the topic to hold true ASAP!! Of course I am talking about my future. When I will be settled and mature enough to say it to my wife to be : ‘I am ready to love, I am ready to hold you’.

Waiting for the right time to come and nothing else. Sometimes, I badly feel that let the cupid find me. That I am all eager to get into a relationship. But then I realize that there are still things to be done which will require my time. And that this is the only time for all those things to be done. In a nutshell, I mean to settle properly first. It’s not that I can’t afford a relationship at this stage. May be I can. But then life will pause since I believe that every relationship requires time to burgeon. And since I want to do it in a proper way, I cannot run from it once I am into it. So it is a fight between heart and mind. The heart is whimsical, speaks for what it wants right now. But the mind thinks logically and says that other things should have a higher priority as of now. May be everything in life has got its own time. And the time for the cupid to strike is still at bay. May be I am not completely ready for it even though I would love to be head over heels. And may be single rocks who knows for sure! May be after getting into a relationship I might crave for my single, independent days where there were no explanations required. After all the grass on the other side always looks greener. So let’s wait for the right time when both the heart and mind think alike. But then be on a look out. If you find someone next to ideal for you, then may be you should call the cupid. Give it a shot. And if she understands, even she will give you the space and time that you require to settle down. I think falling in love is not only about spending a lot of time together but also about making your partner comfortable and encouraging him/her in his/her goals even if it requires some compromise to be made initially.

So should one fall in love? Sure, if you think it’s worth it and if your heart sings ‘I am ready to love you, I am ready to hold you’!!
